Not sure how to start this posting, having wanted to visit Chernobyl and Pripyat for 8 years the whole trip to the Ukraine itself was manic, thankfully I was in the good company of Urban Spaceman and Tin Dog.
Meeting up with the team from Chernobylwelcome at Kiev Railway Station on a cold Friday morning
in March, saying hello to fellow Belgian explorers Nick and Dennis whom we had previously exchanged a few excited emails with.
We drove for 2 hours to the closed nuclear disaster zone that is Chernobyl and Pripyat.
In no particular order, here is the first selection of what we saw.

Oh, I should have added, the area was deep in snow, which did slow us down and was bloody hard going to say the least.
